I wish you would stop thinking about how much prettier other girls are, how that one guy will never like you back. How people around you seem to be having the time of their lives.
Instead I wish you would think about how your eyes light up when you smile, how lucky you are to have family and friends that care for you, how easy it would be to fall in love with your kind heart.
Because in this world every single person is so different that comparing yourself to others just doesn't make sense. What she has you might not. But what you have she probably doesn't. He doesn't understand what you have been through. But you probably don't know what he is going through either.
What you perceive as beautiful is probably not agreed upon by the next person. So stop. Just stop with all this self-pitying, self-depreciation nonsense.
And I swear happiness will come find you♥
